I am re-posting this information, encouraging others to check this out and to please vote if you feel compelled. I saw today that so far he has 153 votes towards the next stage of the grant process. I'm so glad to see this moving along and will continue to hope he reaches the 240 votes that are needed.
As someone who helps others heal through meditation and energy work, I believe in the value of human contact, however many veterans do not live in close proximity to the nearest VA medical center. I know veterans who have had to travel an hour and a half or more to get to a medical appointment. It is a very long trip for many who are already not feeling well and in need of care. Also, keep in mind that many veterans are aging and may also need such care. This software sounds like it could be a welcome technology for reaching veterans who may not live close to a facility and could receive some treatment in the comfort of their own home.

My dear friend and photographer, Janise Witt, Sedona, Arizona shared this with me. She has asked me to please pass it along, as her husband is trying to get a grant for a physical therapy software program and needs votes for the grant. Please read below and if you feel compelled I know the votes would be greatly appreciated. He needs 240 votes! Help veterans get care they need right at home!
The software addresses an urgent need by facilitating veterans in recovering more quickly from maladies ranging from strokes, wounds suffered in combat, to any injury needing physical therapy. Right now, the VA is swamped with vets who need specialized physical therapy and yet want to be at home. Our software enables a physical therapist located in any VA to administer a particular treatment to a patient whether they are in Portland, OR or Portland, ME. The grant financing will expedite bringing this product to market to help vets and others in their recovery. Your vote will get us to the next level for grant consideration. You are welcome to send this verbiage to anyone with a Facebook, LinkedIn, or other social media account.
