Welcome!

This is the same "Peaceful Warriors".
March 1 will be one year of offering services to the community in Forked River, NJ and beyond. It was time for a bit of an upgrade in the website. All information and links have remained the same, just with a new look.

A heartfelt thank you to the thousands of people all over the world, who have visited my site, read my blog, commented, and continued to return. This tells me that what I am sharing is hitting home and proving useful to others.

I look forward to sharing more information with you this year, as well as, sharing the release of my new book with you. It has been a long time coming and will help you to better understand where I've come from and how I know what I know about the internal workings of post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and trauma.

This business and my book have been born out of my experiences, but also out of the prompting of the troops.  When I say they have been my most loyal advocates, I mean that with every ounce of my being.  They have had their hands on my back letting me know that it's okay to share what I know, even if post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, and trauma were not things I wanted to openly share for a good decade.  The stigma was alive and strong for me too, but not anymore. The battle within ended here with "Peaceful Warriors" because I know that what I have the ability to explain from the inside out can have a profound impact on those who suffer in the silence of it, that I once lived in too.  We have the ability to help, support, and guide one another through this and that is what I intend to continue doing. May each of you begin to recognize that this is not something you suffer with alone. There is an entire population suffering beside you, but I hope through this and the thousands who visit here, it will become an entire population that learns how to heal together.

With great sincerity and appreciation,
Susie
